# Alerts User Guide

The Alerts section highlights items that may require your attention within CareMaster. This includes things like staff members whose qualifications are near expiry, clients are nearly due for a review or supports still requiring a support worker to be assigned to them.

To access your alerts, click on **Alerts** from the main menu. You can select a specific alert type from the expanded menu, or select **All Alerts** to see a summary of where Alerts are being generated across the system as shown below.

Each alert relates to a specific staff, participant or support record. Clicking on the pencil symbol to the right of an alert will open that record where it can be viewed or amended as desired. You can change what Alerts are shown from Data > Alert Display.

An alert will stay there until there is no longer anything triggering it. So for example, if a staff member’s qualification expiry date is within the next 30 days, the alert will remain there until the date has been changed to a date that is no longer within the next 30 days.

There is currently no functionality to create a report on Alerts or to print Alerts
