# ✨New Feature:

## Driver App Update - Clickable Return to Depot Navigation

We’ve made an update to the Driver App to better support drivers at the end of a run.

Once the final drop-off has been completed, drivers can now tap the “Return Depot” address directly within the app. The departure location is also now clickable. Selecting either option will open their device’s navigation app and start directions to the selected location.

This update removes the need for drivers to manually enter the address into their navigation app and helps streamline the overall workflow.

Selecting either of these options will:

* Open the navigation app
* Start directions back to the either the depart or return address

# 🛠️Updates and Improvements:

## Client Funding Update - Same-Day Start Date Fixed

We’ve resolved an issue affecting Approved Funding Types when creating or updating clients. Previously, when creating a new client or adding an additional funding type to an existing client, the system would prevent selecting today’s date as the start date. Attempting to do so triggered an error stating, “The approved_funding_type.0.started_at must be a date before …,” which blocked funding from starting on the same day it was approved.

With this update, users can now set the start date to the current day, allowing funding to commence immediately on the day it is approved.

## Driver App - License Release Issue Resolved

We’ve resolved an issue in the Drivers App where driver licenses were not being released after logout, which was at times preventing other drivers from logging in. While the logout function appeared to work correctly from the user’s perspective, the license associated with that driver session remained held in the system. This could result in other drivers seeing a “maximum user limit reached” warning, requiring administrators to manually force logout via Drivers > Currently Logged In Drivers to free up licenses.

With this update, driver licenses are now properly released upon logout, preventing login blockages and ensuring smooth access for all drivers.
