We’re excited to share the latest updates and improvements in this release! Here’s what’s new:

# 🛠️Updates and Improvements:

#### Editing Vehicle Run Notes Directly from Allocation Page no Longer Deallocates Future Recurring Bookings

Resolved an issue where editing the Vehicle Run Notes field directly from the Allocations page (without opening the Edit Vehicle Run form) incorrectly soft deleted all future runs within the recurrence. This resulted in any bookings allocated to those future runs being deallocated. Vehicle Run Notes can now be updated from the Allocations page without affecting future recurring runs or the bookings assigned to them. If changes are required across a recurring series, users should open the Edit Vehicle Run form to complete the update.

**IMPORTANT -** Please see below release note for more details on updating a recurring vehicle run and saving the changes for all days forward vs saving for this instance only.

####
Warning Message When Updating Future Recurring Vehicle Runs

A new warning message has been introduced when selecting **"Save for this day and all future instances in this recurrence"** while editing a recurring Vehicle Run. Updating future occurrences creates a new recurrence chain (this means the original recurrence chain will be soft deleted and replaced with a new chain), which will **deallocate** any bookings assigned to future runs in the existing recurrence. These bookings will require review and reallocation after the update. This warning is designed to ensure users are aware of the impact before proceeding and can make an informed decision when applying changes to recurring runs.
