Release Notes 2.49.0
๐ Release Overview: Trips 2.49 ๐
We're excited to introduce a range of enhancements and fixes in this release. Here's what's new:
๐ New Features ๐
โถ๏ธ Replacing the "Email Support" button with a "Contact Support" button:
Replaced the "Email Support" button with a "Contact Support" button within the platform, streamlining and improving the efficiency of the support request process.
โฑ๏ธ Query Builder - Add "Updated At" Field for Enhanced Tracking:
Introduced new fields in the Query Builder to capture "Updated At" timestamps for clients' email, clientโs phone, home address, and postal address, enhancing data accuracy and tracking.
These updates are designed to enhance user experience and improve overall functionality.
๐ ๏ธ Updates & Improvements โ๏ธ
๐จ๏ธ Print Runsheets Now Include Multiple Statuses:
The Print Runsheet has been revised to include all booking statuses, excluding cancelled bookings, rather than only those with a "future" status. This modification aims to improve clarity for users.
๐๐ฝ Discrepancy Between Formal and Preferred Names Across Pages:
We have updated all modules of the TRIPS application to display a client's preferred name rather than their formal name when applicable. Additionally, both the formal name and the preferred name are now searchable in client search boxes across all modules.
โฐ Copy Over Feature Failing to Populate Edited Times:
We have resolved an issue in the allocation module where the "Copy Over" feature failed to reflect updated booking times, instead reverting to the original times. Users can now be assured that any time adjustments made in the allocation screen will be accurately carried over when using the โCopy Overโ feature.
๐ Booking Details Map Failed to Load:
The issue preventing the map from loading in the booking details view has been resolved.
๐ฉ Postcode and Suburb Selection in Allocations:
We have enhanced the allocation process by enabling users to select multiple postcodes and suburbs simultaneously, thereby streamlining the user experience.
๐ Editing a Booking - "Save for This Booking Only" and "Break Recurrence Chain" Functions Not Working Correctly:
Resolved a critical issue where the "Save for This Booking Only, Break Recurrence Chain" option was not functioning correctly. When editing a recurring booking and intending to apply changes only to a specific day, this option now allows you to modify just that booking for the selected day while preserving the original details for the rest of the recurrence chain.
๐ Prevent Changes to Planned Scheduled Times After Editing:
We have updated the system to ensure that planned scheduled times are adjusted appropriately when editing an existing booking. If the booking is not allocated to a vehicle, the planned scheduled time will be re-estimated. However, if the booking is allocated to a vehicle, the planned scheduled time will only be updated if changes are made to the date, time, address, or service typeโfields that directly impact timing calculations. This means that edits to other fields, such as "funding type," will not alter the scheduled times set by the allocation when a vehicle is assigned.
