**We’re excited to share the latest updates and improvements in this release! Here’s what’s new:**

# 🛠️ Updates and Improvements

## **Improved Sorting in Verifications Page**

The sorting logic for bookings on the Verifications page has been updated for greater usability.

What’s new: Bookings are now sorted based on **actual booking event times**. 

**Sorting priority:**


1. **Pick-up event time** - if available, this takes highest priority.
2. **Drop-off event time** - used when there is no pick-up event time 
3. **No pick-up event? (e.g. cancelled bookings)** - these bookings are shown **last**.

## **Cancelled Bookings No Longer Soft Deleted When Editing Shared Booking Forms**

We’ve updated the logic for handling **cancelled bookings** within **shared booking forms** that include multiple clients.

### **Previously:**

* When a client’s booking was **cancelled** within a shared booking form, it was correctly removed from the group.
* However, if the shared form was later **edited and saved**, the system would soft delete the cancelled booking, preventing providers from reporting on cancellations.

### **What’s Changed:**

* **Cancelled bookings will now be preserved** even after the shared booking form is updated.
* Once cancelled, the booking becomes a **standalone record**, ensuring its **“cancelled” status is retained** for reporting.

## **Vehicle Type Selection Restored on Booking Form**

Selecting a vehicle type during booking creation has been restored and now properly triggers fare calculation within the booking form.

**PLEASE NOTE:** Further improvements on billing after trip completion and verification are in progress.

# 🌟 New Feature:

## **Introduction of Dependents on a Client’s profile**

The **Carers** tab has been renamed to **Carer/Dependents**, with the introduction of dependents, to support clients who travel with their dependents.

### Key Updates:

* You can now **add dependents** to a client’s profile and manage them from the Carer/Dependents tab.
  * At the booking level, you can: **select one carer** to travel with the client (as per existing logic) as well as now being able to **select multiple dependents** to accompany the client on the same booking.
* A**uto-Allocating bookings** will include carers and dependents in seat calculations for accurate vehicle assignment.
