We’re excited to share the latest updates and improvements in this release! Here’s what’s new:

🛠️Updates and Improvements:

Cancel All in Sequence and Recurrence

Improved the logic of cancelling bookings that are part of a sequence and also a recurrence. Before, “Cancel all future rescheduled bookings linked with this one” only cancelled the recurring bookings for the booking in the sequence you are cancelling. The logic now cancels all relevant bookings that are part of both the sequence and recurrence.

  • To only cancel the day of bookings - only select “Cancel all bookings on the same day linked with this one”.
  • To cancel one stop in the sequence for day of and all future bookings that are part of the recurrence - only select “Cancel all future rescheduled bookings linked with this one”.
  • To cancel day of and all bookings for a sequence that are recurring - select “Cancel all bookings on the same day linked with this one” and “Cancel all future rescheduled bookings linked with this one”.

Postcode Save Issue

Resolved an issue where users creating a new address with a postcode starting with a leading zero could not save the address. The postcode field now retains leading zeros, validates as a 4-digit string, and allows the new address to be saved successfully.

Invoices for Individually Cancelled Recurring Bookings

Resolved an issue where cancelling individual bookings within a recurring series(date) and using a cancellation reason that incurs a % fee, only generated an invoice for the first stop. Invoices are now generated against each cancelled stop within the series if required.

Client Funding Started Date Not Saving

Resolved an issue where the “Started Funding” date in a client’s profile was not being saved or was being removed. Previously, even though the date appeared at time of initial entry of the funding type, clicking Save would clear the date from both the UI and the database. The field now correctly retains the Started Funding date when saved or updated.

Print All Run Sheets: Option to Combine into Single PDF

Added a new option in the Print/Email Run-list dropdown to combine all selected run sheets into a single PDF. Users can now choose to download either a ZIP of individual PDFs (current behaviour) or a single combined PDF for easier bulk printing. The dropdown also consolidates all existing print options (ZIP, Combined, Compact, Verbose) under one button for a cleaner, more intuitive UI.

✨New Features:

View Pre and Post-Departure Vehicle Checks & Feedback

Organisations can now access pre-departure and post-departure vehicle checks, along with driver feedback, directly from the TRIPS Web UI. This data can be viewed and exported via the Custom Report Builder, providing easy access to check responses and feedback linked to drivers, vehicles, runs, and dates.

Email Run Lists

Users can now email run lists directly from the TRIPS Web Platform, either individually or in bulk via an “Email All” option. Each run list can be sent as a PDF attachment to the driver of the journey, with a confirmation popup displayed before sending. For multiple runs, drivers receive a separate email for each journey. Existing Print functionality remains unchanged, providing flexibility between electronic and paper distribution.

Please note: Emails will be sent to email addresses that have been saved on a driver’s profile. If no email address is entered on a driver’s profile, the action to send an email will fail.

New Filter: Driver on Allocations Page

Added a new filter option on the Allocations page, allowing users to filter allocations by Driver. Existing filters for Departure Location and Return Location remain available.

Query Builder: Custom Question Answers for Funding Types

Added a new section in the Query Builder to capture and export Custom Question Answers linked to funding types. Each answer is displayed as a separate row with client details, funding type, question, and answer. Users can filter by client, funding type, or specific question. This allows efficient reporting on multiple answers per client while applying funding type rulesets for precise filtering.
