Below is a summary of what’s new. Roster Optimiser Performance Improvements Some changes have been made to significantly improve performance and response times of Roster Optimiser when fetching recommendations for entire pay periods.
Children Services Award - Pay Rate Changes As communicated by Fair Work, the revised pay rates effective 30 June 2026 have been added.
Bug Fix – SCHADS - Night Rate Incorrectly Applied Instead of Afternoon Rate on Cross-Month Payruns We resolved an issue where payruns spanning two months (e.g. part May, part June) were incorrectly applying night rates instead of afternoon rates to applicable shifts. Bug Fix - SCHADS - Not applying overtime in specific sleepover scenario We fixed an issue where overtime was not applied when both the pre sleepover shift exceeds 8 hr cap and the pre and post sleepover total exceeds 10 hrs (where no sleepover agreement) or 12 hrs (with agreement).
Bug Fix – SCHADS - Overtime Rates Not Applying Correctly in Xero Advanced Timesheets We resolved an issue where overtime rates were not being correctly applied to continuous shifts and the first 2-hour overtime rule was not calculating properly. The system now correctly assigns ordinary hours for the first 8 hours, overtime 1 for the next 2 hours, and overtime 2 for any remaining hours.
Bug Fix – SCHADS - Shift Rate Calculation for Near-Continuous Shifts We resolved an issue where shifts with a gap shorter than the configured "Minimum gap between shifts to classify as broken" were no longer being treated as continuous which was causing incorrect rate application (e.g. ordinary or afternoon rates instead of night rates).
Bug Fix - Worker Shift Notification Delivery Fix We resolved an issue where scheduled worker notifications for same-day and next-day shifts were not being sent or received
Bug Fix - Worker App Negative Kilometres Fix Fixed a bug in the Worker App where kilometres pre-entered via the web portal were incorrectly calculated as negative values on the support record and timesheet when the worker completed the shift without being prompted for odometer readings.
Bug Fix - Worker App Document Upload Fix Fixed an issue where workers were unable to upload documents (photos, voice recordings, and files) to their profile via the Worker App.
