π Software Release Overview: 16.90.00 π
We'reΒ pleased to share the system improvements included in this version.
SCHADS Award β temporary Vehicle Allowance increase
From 1 September 2026, the vehicle allowance under the Aged Care Award and SCHADS Award increases from $1.01 to $1.05 per kilometre (both the up-to-5,000km and over-5,000km rates), applying for six months until 28 February 2027. This change applies from the first full pay period starting on or after 1 September 2026 and a manual update to the vehicle allowance in your payroll software (eg Xero) may also be required.
Support at Home statement notes
Two related note capabilities have been reinstated for Support at Home monthly statements (previously available for Home Care Package statements before the November 2025 transition): providers can now add a free-text note against a support (via the Additional Notes section) that appears on the participant's statement, and can also utilise the system setting to show the support worker's notes on statements as well.
Fix: Worker and Client Android app - Google Play Store download issueΒ
We've resolved an issue that could prevent new installations of the CareMaster Worker and Client apps from Google Play.Β
- An updated version of the Worker app is now available for download in the Google Play store
- The client/participant app is awaiting approval from Google and should be available in the next 24-48 hours.Β
Fix: Incorrect "managed under Support at Home" banner
We've resolved an issue where NDIS-funded participants who are not synced with Support at Home could incorrectly see a banner stating they're managed under Support at Home, hiding their normal NDIS funding details. The banner will now only display for participants actually synced with Support at Home.ββ
DEX Stage 3 service defaults β multiply by quantity option
For DEX-reportable services, providers can now set a service default for meal counts to multiply by quantity, rather than only being able to fill a fixed value.
Fix: KeyPay Pay Category sync failure
We've resolved an issue where syncing Pay Categories from KeyPay could fail with an error for businesses using certain employment termination payment category types. Pay Category sync should now complete successfully.
Roster Optimiser
There have been multiple fixes and improvements to Roster Optimiser:
Metrics panels temporarily hidden
The metrics panels on the pre- and post-optimisation screens have been temporarily hidden while we review their accuracy. They may return in an updated format in a future release.
Fix: Duplicate worker assignments after optimising
We've resolved an issue where, after applying an optimised roster, some supports could end up with the same worker assigned twice.
Fix: Readiness Report link
We've fixed a broken link from the Roster Optimiser to the Readiness Report, and updated the link text for clarity.
Zoom control redesign
We've updated the styling and placement of the roster timeline zoom control introduced in a previous release, for a cleaner, more integrated look
New: Lock workeβββββr row
You can now lock or unlock all of a worker's supports for a pay period at once, rather than locking each support individually, making it easier to run the optimiser without affecting that worker's shifts.
