Step 2: Sync CareMaster with DEX to import your new program activities for 1 July 2025 

Once you have updated your DEX outlets with the program activities, you’ll need to sync CareMaster with DEX to make sure it can report correctly against the new services from 1 July 2025. 

Important Notes Before You Start: 

• Before you can complete Part 2 – you’ll need to make sure to complete Part 1 of the process.  

• A user with CareMaster admin access will be required to complete this part of the process.  

• You may not be able to complete this step until after the start date of your new program activities has passed (this may be 1 July 2025 depending on what DEX has defined for your organization)  

• You also will be unable to complete this step unless your new program activities have been approved in the DEX portal  

Syncing your new DEX program activities with CareMaster 

1. Login to CareMaster and go to Admin > Integrations > DEX 

2. Click on the Outlets option  

3. Click on the ‘Sync Outlets’ button 

You should see a success message in the top right hand corner of your screen:  

4. Click on the ‘Sync Outlets => Activity Links’ button

5. Click on the Reference Data option on the DEX Dashboard 

6. Click on the ‘Sync Reference Data’ button 

You should see a success message in the top right hand corner of your screen: 

• If you the syncing of steps 3 through 6 were successful, you should see any new outlets you may have created. You can also click on the Details button to view the new services effective from 1 July 2025 listed. 

• If you cannot see your new program activities, please check the DEX portal to ensure they are in the APPROVED status and the start date of those services has commenced.  

• If you receive any errors on steps 3 to 6 please contact us for further assistance.
