TRIPS Web – How to Update a Client's Address and Future bookings
To update a client’s address in the TRIPS Web Application:
Step 1 - From the Main menu select “Locations”.
Step 2 - Ensure the address does not already existing within your current locations list by using the search field. PLEASE NOTE: If the location does not exist: For assistance creating a new Location, please use the following link. TRIPS Web – How to Create a Location
Step 3 - Address exists: From the main menu select “Clients”.
Step 4 - Locate the client using the search field. Click on the hyperlinked client name to load the client’s profile page.
Step 5 - From the client’s profile page within the “Basic Details” tab hover over the address field and click, enabling the field to become editable. Clear the content of the field and start typing the new address in.
Step 6 - The address will populate within the available locations list. Select the address to save the change.
PLEASE NOTE: If the client's postal address needs updating, the steps outlined above can be followed. The system does not update this automatically, as the postal address may need to differ from the client’s home address.
To update future bookings for a client who’s address has changed in the TRIPS Web Application:
Step 1 - From the client’s profile bookings tab, select the booking that requires updating. From the Bookings details page, select “Edit Booking”.
PLEASE NOTE: After the client’s home address has been updated from within the basic details tab on their profile the home address toggle will be off within the “Update booking” form.
Step 2 - Click the “Use home address” toggle to pull through the new home address.
Step 3 - Continue to scroll through the booking details form. If there is a return linked booking the toggle on that destination will also need to be toggled on to pull through the home address.
Step 4 - Click on the blue “Update booking” button to save the changes.
PLEASE NOTE: If the booking is part of a recurrence you will select “Save for this day and all future bookings in the recurrence” to update the recurrence pattern.
PLEASE NOTE: While we continue to improve this workflow, each individual booking and recurrence chain will require the above steps be followed.
