Synching timesheets is the first step in the pay process. After you have finished sending your timesheets to Xero and approving them, then you can create a pay run. The pay run can then be edited from CareMaster further if desired with allowances.

If you have the setting 'Only show and sync admin-approved timesheets' in **Settings → Integrations →Xero** enabled, you will need to first approve timesheets from **Staff/Volunteers → Timesheets** before they can be synched to Xero. If this setting is enabled, only approved timesheets will appear in **Admin → Integrations → Xero → Timesheets** **Basic** which is where they need to go for synching to Xero.

If sending across timesheets for the first time, we recommend carefully looking to see that the correct Rate is being used, that everything looks as expected and then when ready sending across a single timesheet. Confirm that it looks as expected in Xero before proceeding to send the rest. \n 

Applicable timesheets can be sent over from Xero by ticking the box to their immediate right, and/or by ticking the status box immediately above the timesheets to select all within the list to select them. Selected timesheets can be sent over by clicking the **Send Selected** button (highlighted above). You can choose if timesheets are sent over using the specific times on said timesheet (rounded to nearest 15 minutes) using the 'Rostered Times Only' or if the times for that timesheet's attached support are used instead.

Generally speaking, your timesheet records behave relatively independently from the support records they are linked to. However sleepover timesheets behave differently, they aren't sent across to Xero as hours worked unless the support is charged hourly. They are included later on as an allowance, and the support needs to have been Checked for this to happen successfully.

**Resending Timesheets**

If you have sent over timesheets and would like to send them over again, you can do this. The timesheet will need to be deleted from Xero manually, and you can reset the timesheet from CareMaster to send over again.

The **Delete Status** button at the bottom will remove any links for this specific timesheet to Xero, and allow you to resend.
