TRIPS Web - How to setup a Vehicle Configuration

Use this guide to assist you with creating and editing vehicle configurations

Creating a Vehicle configuration

Step 1 - From the main menu click on vehicles > Select the vehicle from the list view, alternatively use the search field to locate the vehicle. By clicking on the vehicle name the vehicle profile page will open.

Step 2 - Click on the Vehicle Configuration tab > click on Add Configuration.

Step 3 - Enter a name for the configuration > enter all other applicable seating details > click on Create Configuration.

Your configuration is now saved and visible.

Editing or deleting an existing configuration

Step 1 - To edit a an existing configuration, click on Edit beside the existing configuration within the Vehicle Configuration tab on the Vehicle profile.

Step 2 - Make the required changes and click “Update configuration” to save the changes. Alternatively delete the configuration by clicking “Delete”.

Adding an additional Vehicle Configuration

Multiple vehicle configurations can now be added to offer flexibility and customisation when using the auto allocate feature.

Step1 - From the Vehicle Configuration tab on the Vehicle profile select “Add configuration”. Step 2 - Enter required details and click “Create Configuration” to save. Step 3 - The configuration created will appear below the existing configuration in the list on the vehicle profile Vehicle configurations tab.

PLEASE NOTE: A vehicle configuration is necessary to enable the creation of a vehicle run/s. If a configuration is not saved for the vehicle, the system will alert the user. This ensures that all vehicle runs are created with complete and accurate information, enhancing operational reliability.
