Cancellation reasons are the reasons populated within the drop down menu and selectable when a User selects “Cancel” against a Client’s booking/s. An Organisation may wish to review cancellations, and therefore these reasons are able to be pulled within the query builder.

At time of System stand up a number of Cancellation reasons are added. On review of a companies Service Configuration Document, these cancellation reasons are then added to, removed or edited to meet a companies cancellation policies. An Organisation at any time can then add, remove or edit in future, if and when required.

To edit, remove or add a Cancellation Reason-

Step 1 - Click on your name in the top right hand corner and select “Organisation Settings” from the drop down menu.

PLEASE NOTE: A Users role and permissions will determine if the Organisation Settings page is visible to the User.

Step 2 - Click on “Manage Cancellation Reasons” within the “Cancellation Reasons” tab.

Step 3 - To edit an existing Cancellation Reason click on the 3 vertical dot menu. Alternatively to add a new reason, click on “Create New” to populate the “Create Cancellation Reason” window. PLEASE NOTE: During the Onboarding process the initial cancellation reasons required by the Organisation will be configured. PLEASE NOTE: When creating a cancellation reason it is possible to link a cancellation charge to a reason. This can be a percentage of the bookings cost or a fixed amount.

When a user uses the applicable reason when cancelling a booking, they will clearly see that a cancellation charge will apply. NOTE: A user does have the option to waive the fee.
