3G Network Shutdown
How this affects you
Telstra and Optus has announced that its 3G network will be phased out, with the final shutdown date set for 28 October 2024.
What you need to do
If you have an older device that only supports 3G, you’ll need to upgrade to a 4G or 5G compatible device to continue using services like the CareMaster & Trips mobile apps.
How you can prepare
- Check Your Device Compatibility: Verify if your current device supports 4G or 5G by checking the device specifications.
- Upgrade Your Device: If your device is not compatible, consider upgrading to a new one.
- Review Your Plan: Ensure your mobile plan supports 4G or 5G to take full advantage of the new networks.
