We’re excited to introduce this update focused on enhancing the functionality of the TRIPS platform. Here's what's been addressed:

🛠️ Updates & Improvements ⚙️

Recurrence Pattern Issue in Bookings

  • Fixed a problem where editing a correctly created fortnightly recurrence pattern and saving it without changes caused the system to incorrectly soft-delete the existing booking chain and remake a new chain with altered Recurrence dates. This led to confusion as users believed the original recurrence pattern was created incorrectly. The update ensures that saving without changes retains the original recurrence dates as expected.

Booking Recurrence Improvements

  • Added a reschedule identifier based coloured background to the recurring icon, which groups each related recurrence bookings together.

The same colour represents the same recurrence chain

  • Added the reschedule identifier to the tooltip of the recurring icon, so the end-user can identify the related bookings

Hovering over recurrence icon will let you know the recurrence identifier, allowing you to confirm the booking is apart of the same chain

  • Added a click-to-copy to the recurring icon, allowing the end user to copy the reschedule identifier to the clipboard

By clicking on the recurrence icon, it will automatically copy the recurrence ID, allowing you to quickly search for every booking in this chain.

  • Added the capability to search/filter to bookings based on the reschedule identifier

You can now search by the recurrence ID, only showing bookings a part of this booking chain only, reducing the noise.

  • Added highlighting of the corresponding rows upon mouse over of the recurring icon

When hovering your cursor over the recurrence icon, it will highlight the bookings that are in the chain, for quick visuals

Thank you for your continued support and feedback as we work to improve the TRIPS experience! 🎉
