Once reopened, depot icons and journey allocation times should display correctly.
👤 Improvements to Editing Driver Details
Previously, updating a driver's details using the Edit Driver function could result in the emergency contact being cleared if it was added after the driver's initial creation. This has now been addressed, and emergency contact information is properly retained when driver details are updated.
Validation messages have also been improved to clearly specify what needs attention when updating a driver. Users will now receive more detailed prompts, making it easier to identify and correct missing or incorrect information.
🕒 Driver Availability Calendar Timezone Alignment
It was identified that the driver availability calendar previously used the user’s browser timezone instead of the organisation’s configured timezone if differing, causing discrepancies between selected times on the calendar and those shown in the "Add Period" window. The calendar now correctly applies the organisation’s timezone to all time data, ensuring consistency.
🚫Allocated Cancelled Bookings Being Sent to Optimiser
Resolved an issue where cancelled bookings that were still allocated to vehicles were being sent to the optimiser during auto allocation. Bookings with a Cancelled status are now correctly excluded from optimiser processing. This can be confirmed by checking the optimiser logs—cancelled bookings should no longer appear.
🔁 Updated Logic: Service Type Now Applies to All Stops in a Booking
The logic for service type use in the booking form has been updated. Previously, the service type applied only to the stop selected on within the booking form, meaning multiple could be used. Now, when the service type is updated within a booking, the change will be applied to all stops within the booking form. This ensures consistency across the entire booking when a service type is adjusted.
🚐 Changes to Recurring Vehicle Runs Not Saving as Expected
Resolved an issue where updates made to existing recurring vehicle runs were not being applied to future instances when using the “Save for this day and all future instances in this recurrence” option. Specifically, changes to the following fields were not carrying through:
- Driver
- Notes for Driver
- Additional Crew
- Run Description
These fields will now correctly update across all applicable future recurrences when edited and selecting “Save for this day and all future instances in this recurrence”.
