The roster section of CareMaster is a visual representation of what's in the Supports section. You can visually see what participants are scheduled for when, view unassigned supports, and see your worker's schedules at a glance.

Navigation

Each of the rosters have the same navigational/view buttons up the top.

The buttons on the top left include the arrow keys to go the next/previous time period, displaying the roster that includes today's date, the option to transpose the roster between Horizontal/Vertical, a calendar for selecting the date (available only in Day view), a Print button and Email button.

The Day/Week/Fortnight/Month options allow you to set the time period being shown. Depending on the view selected and how many staff/supports/clients your organisation has, your roster can become too crowded to read easily, This is where the Filters button will come in handy - after clicking on this you'll have the option to set one or more filters to only show the supports you wish to see. To remove a filter you've placed on there, click on the Filters button again and click Clear next to the filter you wish to remove.

The Manage button allows you to make changes to your supports in bulk. This needs to be used carefully however, please read the guide here before using it.

The Resource views button allows you to change the layout of the roster by certain resource views. In resource views, the roster events are grouped by resource when calculating the totals - grouped by worker, by participant, by vehicle, etc. So if you are viewing the worker roster, and two workers have a Support at the same time, then both supports will contribute to the total.  For example, when viewing the worker roster, if Jack and Jill are both assigned to the same 2 hour Support for Jane, then their totals will each say "2 hours" and the grand total will be "4 hours".

The Grid views button allows you to change the layout of the roster by certain grid views. In grid views, the roster events are grouped by date when calculating the totals. For example, when viewing the worker roster, if Jack and Jill are both assigned to the same 2 hour Support for Jane, then the total for that day will say "2 hours" and the grand total will be "2 hours".

Roster Types

For all roster types, single click on any roster item to view a summary of the support, and you can double-click to open the support to edit it. Any supports without at least one worker assigned will be shown in Blue.

Worker Roster: This shows you an overview on what your workers have scheduled, and any supports that haven't been assigned. The roster will display pink/white to indicate the worker's availability set in their record with the total hours of scheduled supports shown in blue next to the worker's name. Any unassigned supports will show up at the bottom of the roster.

Clients Roster: Similar to the worker roster, the Clients roster shows you a list of your current clients, and the supports they have scheduled.

Service Organisations Roster: The Service Organisations roster enables users to view the scheduled supports within each individual Service Organisation

Coordinators Roster: The coordinators roster will show the supports that have a coordinator assigned to them.

Vehicles Roster: The vehicles roster will show the supports that have that vehicle assigned to them.
