The NDIS have updated their policy on Therapy Transports specifically for the 0128 Registration Group Number.

We have made things easy for you so that when you add Travel Time to a Therapy Support (Registration Group Number 0128), it will auto update the Travel charge to be 50%.


To use this effectively you need to ensure the Service is eligible and set for Provider Travel.


## Configure a Service to be Provider Travel related

Go to Admin > Service Organisations > Select One > Go to the Services Tab > Select a Service and Edit.

## Creating a Support


Begin creating the Support as per normal and select your Therapy Service Item (registration group 0128).

Here there are 2 options

* **Charging the Participant Travel Time** 

  If you are not paying the worker, then you can charge the Participant for the full duration of their support and the Travel Time in a single support.

  Build the Support Details as normal using a 0128 Service Item

Tick the Transport box to allow the Claim Travel Time, then add the Travel Time duration. It will then calculate the duration based on 50% of the original Therapy Service Item.

In this example: Therapy Service Item = $156.16. Thirty minutes of this at 50% is $39.08.

* **Charging the Participant Travel Time and Paying the Worker**

Create a Group Support so you can have separate times for the Worker Travel charges and Timesheets and the Primary Supports.

You would apply the same settings to the 1st portion of the Group Support being the i.e. 0900 - 0930 Travel to the Participants location before the support begins. By adding the worker to the Pre travel support, it will also generate a timesheet for them.

Then add Provider Travel in the NDIS Claim Type Override.
